Megapari privacy notice
This notice says what personal data the service collects, why it is collected, who it reaches and how it is kept. The basis is the consent you give when the account opens, and consent can be withdrawn. The same notice applies on the mirror mp495892.pro, because it is the same service.
What is collected and why
Personal data keeps the account running, settles transactions, meets the duties that come with the licence and makes the service work better. The controller is Vdsoft & Script Development SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-887249. The data is not sold, and it does not go into anyone else's marketing.
- Name, date of birth and address open the account and confirm who holds it;
- Payment details and transaction history run deposits, withdrawals and the checks around them;
- Sign-in records, the IP address and device details are kept for security and against fraud;
- What you use on the site is looked at to make the sections work better;
- Messages to support are stored so a case can be picked up where it stopped;
- Stored and transmitted data is encrypted;
- Access inside the company is limited to the staff whose work needs it;
- Security checks are run on the systems that hold the data;
- Data is destroyed once the purpose it was collected for has gone;
- Nothing goes to a third party without a reason for it and a record of that reason;
You can ask for a copy of what is held on you, ask for a mistake to be corrected, or ask for the data to be deleted. Complaints about how the data is handled can be raised at any point.
Requests go to support@megapari.com, from the email the account was registered with, so the answer does not go to the wrong person. There is a basis for every kind of processing described here, and support will say which one applies to a particular case if you ask.
How the data is used
Collected data does a handful of jobs: it keeps the account, moves money in and out, answers support requests, catches fraud and satisfies what the licence requires. Some of it also shapes what offers you see. Each of those has a basis behind it, and you can ask what that basis is.
- Opening the account and confirming the identity behind it;
- Running deposits, withdrawals, bets and payouts;
- Answering support requests and working through complaints;
- Looking at how the sections are used, to fix what does not work;
- Putting together offers and promotions that suit the account;
- Spotting fraud, duplicate accounts and attempts to break in;
- Meeting the duties that come with the licence;
- Producing statistics, with the figures separated from the names;
- Holding evidence if a bet or a payment is disputed;
- Testing changes to the site and the app before they go live;
Consent can be taken back, and processing that rests on it stops when it is. Some of it does not rest on consent: records tied to payments and to the licence stay while the duty behind them stays. Questions about which is which go to support.
Seeing and changing your data
Personal data is visible in the account settings. Name, contact details and address sit in one place, and some of the fields lock once verification is finished, because changing a surname on a verified account would mean the verification confirmed nothing. If a correction is still needed, support makes it after looking at the document. You can also ask for a copy of what the service holds on you, or ask for it to be deleted. Deleting the account and the data works inside the limits the licence sets: some transaction records the operator has to keep even after the account is closed. The request goes to support@megapari.com, or opens in the chat from inside the account.
Protecting minors
The service is for adults, from 18. Age cannot be confirmed without a document, so the verification step is what confirms it, and an account that fails is closed together with the data collected on it. A parent or guardian who finds an account in a minor's name can ask for it to be removed.
- The age limit is stated at registration and accepted there;
- Identity verification before the first withdrawal is where the age is actually checked;
- A parent or guardian can ask for a minor's data to be deleted;
- An account found to belong to a minor is closed and its data removed;
- Requests about a minor's account are taken ahead of the queue;
- Keeping the device out of a child's reach is the account holder's job;
Data outside Pakistan
The operator is registered in Costa Rica and the licence comes from Anjouan, so data is processed outside Pakistan. Payment providers, verification providers and support tools sit in their own countries as well. Using the service means accepting that the data travels, and every provider is held to confidentiality by the contract with it.
- Transfers happen on the basis described here, and consent covers the ones that need it;
- Providers are chosen with their handling of data in mind;
- Contracts with providers carry confidentiality terms;
- Transferred data moves encrypted;
- You can ask what leaves and where it goes;
- Complaints about a transfer go to support@megapari.com;
Where responsibility ends
These terms limit what the operator answers for. They apply from the moment the notice is accepted, which happens when the account opens.
- A leak caused by a third party is not the operator's to answer for;
- An account lost through a shared or reused password is the holder's responsibility;
- Data collected on a site you reached by an external link follows that site's rules;
- Handing data to an authority that demands it is not a breach of this notice;
- Outages outside the operator's control limit what it answers for;
- These limits apply as far as the law allows and no further;
Cookies
Cookies are small text files the site saves on the device. The service uses them to remember an open session, to hold the settings you picked and to count visits. Without some of them the page forgets the bet slip and the language between clicks. Most can be refused in the browser settings, and all of them can be cleared afterwards. Blocking the lot usually leaves the site working, but it can sign you out on every move between pages. Cookie settings are changed in the browser and not in the account, because the browser is what stores them.
Accepting this notice
Using the service means accepting the version of this notice that is published at the time. A newer version replaces the ones before it, and changes appear on the site. Carrying on after a change means the change is accepted. Significant changes may be announced by email or as an account notice. Questions about any of it go to support@megapari.com, and the answer comes back the same way.
Who else sees the data
Some data reaches other companies, because the service cannot run without them. Payments go through payment providers, verification goes through the companies that check documents, and support runs on tools that hold the correspondence. Authorities get data when they have the right to demand it. Nobody on that list may use the data for anything beyond the job it was passed for.
- Data goes out on a stated basis, and with consent where consent is the basis;
- Recipients are bound by contract to protect what they receive;
- Payments, identity checks and support are the usual reasons;
- Authorities and regulators receive data when they are entitled to it;
- A recipient may not reuse the data for its own purposes;
- You can ask what has been passed on and to whom;
- Data passed on is destroyed once the purpose behind it has gone;
- Complaints about a recipient go to support@megapari.com;
Links to other sites
The site carries links that lead off it. What happens to data on the other side is the other site's business, under its own rules, and this notice stops at the link. Payment providers and app stores are the usual ones. Reading their terms before handing over anything is worth the minute it takes.
- Links are there for reference;
- Content and policy on the other side belong to that site;
- A leak that happens there is not the operator's to answer for;
- Read the other site's terms before you give it anything;
- Business done on the other side is yours to carry;
- A link is not a recommendation;
- Questions about a link go to support@megapari.com;
- The operator cannot control what another site changes.
